A specialised PE program is offered to all students at Beaufort Primary School. In the junior years, students are engaged in activities to encourage gross motor skills such as skipping, bouncing and striking a ball. They are taught to value fair sportsmanship and encouraged to demonstrate their growing skills in a positive environment.

Students in Grade 3-6 build on these skills and are encouraged to develop their strategic thinking during increasingly technical activities. Opportunities exist throughout the year for students to represent our school in a range of sports such as Athletics, cross country, football, netball, soccer, golf, cricket, swimming and equestrian events.

Our school provides a swimming course for students in Grade 2-6. This is a heavily subsidised program designed to ensure basic water skills and safety and build on basic swimming strokes.
