Over its more than one hundred and sixty years of educating the young people of Beaufort and District, Beaufort Primary School has seen many changes. From its early start in 1864 in tents on the goldfields of Fiery Creek - just out of the current township of Beaufort - it evolved to become the bluestone and brick school in Hill Street and, eventually, to the modern building on the Secondary College site in March 2014.
Mission In partnership with our community, Beaufort Primary School will create a safe, supportive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment for our students. We will support the needs of the whole child by providing opportunities to develop academically, socially and emotionally so they can achieve their personal best. Vision At Beaufort Primary School we foster the development of respectful, compassionate thinkers who thrive academically, creatively and emotionally, and hold themselves accountable for the decisions they make whilst engaging meaningfully with their local and global communities.
