Welcome

Beaufort Primary School enjoys an outstanding reputation as a friendly and caring "Beautiful Place to Learn". It is a member of the Beaufort Cluster and is participating in the ASISTM Project. The school has an enrolment of around 140 students. About half of the students come from rural backgrounds and travel to school by bus. Beaufort Primary School has a strong focus on student well-being through its emphasis on positive values and provision of a caring environment. The school provides support services for students who require additional assistance and encourages a positive partnership with the home. school.jpg

The school values the development of social competencies and skills as an important part of its educative role alongside the development of the academic achievement of students. Strong links are fostered with both the local kindergarten and Beaufort Secondary College, for which we are the main feeder school. Parents are involved in many ways – Parent Helpers, School Council, Parents and Friends Club, special food days, classroom programs, excursions, swimming, school sporting teams and library maintenance. House swimming and athletics sports take place annually. The children participate in decision-making through the Junior School Council and undertake leadership roles via the Peer Mediation Program.
Parents are kept informed of all activities at the school through a weekly newsletter. An annual school magazine is published covering all aspects of the children's activities and school operations for the year. A comprehensive School Information Manual is distributed to all new families. Beaufort Primary School aims to retain those things that it values whilst striving towards educational excellence in all aspects of the school..
